Geeky Parent Ideas About Fun

I admit to being a geeky parent, and Wired’s GeekDad column is often a favorite.  Today they announced a new book by Ken Denmead, current keeper of the GeekDad blog, that included this project idea:

Electronic Origami
Pimp your origami! Use the conductive ink from a circuit-writer pen to draw positive and negative “wires” on the paper. Attach the wires to a watch battery and complete the circuit with an LED. Now you’ve got a delicate paper swan that shoots lasers from its eyes.

Haven’t tried this yet, but I’m pretty sure it would be extraordinary.
