3 Amigos Anejo Tequila

My husband and I attended a fundraiser last night that was Westside Throwdown presented by Into The Soup to benefit the C-CAP program. One of the sponsors was 3 Amigos Tequila, who for one drink ticket (provided with entry fee) allowed me to sample small amounts of tequila that was made here in Arizona. They also offered margaritas made with their own agave nectar, which were not only delicious but also more glycemic friendly than a typical sweet cocktail.

And here is where we get to my first extraordinary thing. The 3 Amigos Anejo Tequila is extraordinary. All three offerings are good – and the beautiful, clear Agave Nectar is to die for – but the Anjero product, aged for two years, is amazing. It is pricier than I can afford very often, but worth every penny when it is obtained. Like any top shelf liquor, this one is to be specially savored.

This will very likely be a rare entry of an alcohol product because I am not much of a drinker. My ordinary life is very busy, and alcohol disrupts my sleep. But nonetheless, it was extraordinary.
